Peggy Phillips
Top Half Financial Services Peggy began her career in financial services in 1991 with a large New Zealand insurance company following several years in public relations. In 1994 she joined Westpac Bank as a mobile financial consultant offering investment solutions and risk management. In 1999 she became a mortgage broker manager before joining AMP as an adviser. In 2004 Peggy set up her own financial services and mortgage broker company

Clare Bourke
Clare has 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. After completing her BMS at Waikato University Clare began her banking career with ASB then travelled to the UK working at the Bank of New York. After returning to NZ she took up the role of Manager Home Loans with New Zealand Finance a Non-Bank lender. This role provided the opportunity to understand the entire lending process and develop relationships with third parties across a vast range of products. After having her two girls Clare and her family returned to Whangarei when she joined Top Half Financial. Clare works part time allowing her the luxury of spending plenty of quality time with her girls.
Avril Ferreira
Avril has over 15 years’ in the financial services industry in local and offshore investments. She studied accounting at WITS University Johannesburg, South Africa and expanded her career horizons. Her investment background allowed her to transition into her role at Top Half Financial Services since May 2019 applying her skills to the Life/Risk business. Avril provides administrative support to present and future clients and manages all claims with unflappable calm and grace under pressure.
